A vid instructs using 2 sided tape and 1 sided tape to make a single sided tape hair extension. so 1 sided tape is needed right ?

Will it melt when heat is applied? Is there backing on the tape? And when applying do you need to seal with flat iron?

There is a backing on the tape and if you are using for tape ins (from clip ins), you will need to heat with a flat iron. Then let cool and peel off backing. :)

how long does this last?

Not sure if you are asking how long roll last or how long tape last once attached to head. Never the less, 12 yard roll impossible to say just how long it will last a person because everyone used differently and changes out tape from wig at different length of time. As for bonding your wig to hair system it has great hold time. Again time is anywhere from 1 week to 3 weeks time. Mfg. claims 4 weeks hold time but eveyones body chemistry is different. I personally get only 1-week hold myself. I do shampoo my hair system right on my head daily.

Can i use this tape for lace frontal pieces ? it is resistant to sweat ?

No shine tape was created for both lace hair systems as well as poly type caps.
