We don't have toilet in home. Have to go little bit away from home. In viral fever person become weak and can't walk that much. So I am using this as a portable Toilet. I keep this in our bathroom. Then my mother use it. I can't say weither this pot is suitable for bedridden old age pataiants. Overall material looks good and sturdy.
