Original Gameboy Console

Had a little scare when I turned it on and saw nothing on the screen, but then remembered there's a contrast dial. All worked fine, I got this gameboy to replace an old one that someone had left batteries in during long time storage and ruined.

the Console was filthy, and with a wipe from a cloth it cleaned up well, something the seller could have done simply. The picture shows what we thought was the gameboy and back cover so when it arrived without a back cover my son was very dissapointed ( having saved up for it) Not only was it dirty but incomplete. it was indeed expensive for something in this state!

Going off other reviews on here, I took a bit of a gamble on this one but it paid off big time with Game Trade Shop. My gameboy arrived in time, in great condition and was even surprised to have gotten a bonus - a game cartridge slotted in ready to go. Couldn't be happier.

Have given this item to one of my grown-up sons. It seems ok to me and the reason was quite a sentimental for buying it. Game Boy was one of their favourite play items when young. Came well packaged after a reason wait.

its was so dirty and yellow, clean it before you sell it and there was blue marker pen on it

Delivered pretty quickly thanks. Needed a clean tho. Has someone’s ketchup or spaghetti sauce on it, but overall very pleased, thank you.

Fast ohne Gebrauchsspuren !

Got it today!! Glad i decided to keep it. Came with Tetris, Mario Golf, and Frogger. Came with enough juice to be able to turn it on and play. Everything is in tact, screen is nice and clear, battery cover is original, and buttons work great and responsive. Came a lil dirty but nothing a little love, baby wipe, and a Q tip wont fix. Overall i love it. I bought from PLAY-USA-GAMES. THANKS

Ancora un'icona di design, seppur con i suoi limiti è un pezzo di storia delle console. Io l'ho acquistato dal venditore inglese Baxtros e non ho avuto particolari problemi. La scocca esterna è praticamente perfetta, anche troppo. Non ho un modello originale da confrontare, ma non è da escludere che qualche pezzo sia stato sostituito. La qualità e la porosità delle plastiche e la piacevolezza dei comandi mi fanno pensare a componenti originali, ma ripeto che non si possono escludere riparazioni o sostituzioni. Molto apprezzabile il fatto di avere tra le mani un dispositivo pulito. Il display appare leggermente disallineato, ma niente che pregiudichi l'utilizzo. Occhio però alla mancanza di retroilluminazione e agli angoli di visuale non entusiasmanti (ma queste sono caratteristiche tipiche del Gameboy) Ok lo speaker e l'uscita cuffie stereo (con un fruscio di sottofondo). Buona autonomia e possibilità di essere alimentato anche a corrente. Purtroppo manca qualsiasi tipo di scatola, ma questo era indicato chiaramente nell'inserzione. Si poteva fare qualcosina in più con l'imballaggio. Giocare a Tetris su Gameboy è un esperienza unica. Ormai ho abbandonato qualsiasi videogame, ma avevo bisogno di questo. Se l'età si fa sentire soprattutto nel display (che allo stesso tempo è anche il comparto più caratteristico del dispositivo), i controlli sono estremamente precisi e appaganti da utilizzare. A fronte di prezzi non esagerati, conviene procurarsi un esemplare prima che spariscano del tutto. Imprescindibile per gli amanti del Tetris (da acquistare a parte). Lasciate perdere i cloni e buttatevi su un pò di sano retrogaming.
