And it's a royal pain to put a new one in, because of the way the strap fits, and the need to align with the tiny post holes you can't see. So I decided this time to opt for convenience rather than trying to keep the original look, and after some research decided to try this GadetWraps strap, particularly because of the promise of easy attachment.So far I'm quite happy. Attaching the new strap was fairly easy, just required a little pushing and wiggling to get it to fall into place. (I tested by pulling reasonably hard.) And the result looks quite acceptable to me (see photo). If you're fussy you might decide that blue doesn't go with the black and white dial: they have quite a few colors, so you can please yourself.Being silicone, it's soft and comfortable against the skin, and I expect it will remain that way in hot or cold conditions. I'm not sure how durable this will be, but these are relatively inexpensive straps, and the watch is cheap as well, so my risk is low.
