The cordless design makes a big difference when working around the hull, especially in areas where there’s no easy access to power. It has more than enough power to cut through oxidation, and the variable speed gives great control whether you’re compounding or doing a final polish. The 7-inch pad covers a lot of surface quickly, which is a huge plus when working on a boat. With a 5Ah battery I can usually get through an average-size boat without needing to recharge. It’s comfortable to hold, well-balanced, and doesn’t wear you out after long sessions. If you maintain your own boat or do marine detailing, this is an excellent tool.
