If you move the buckles they will either lengthen or shorten the shoulder straps, depending on which direction you move them. **Q: Can I hang my Speaker Mic on this harness?** A: I hang mine on my vest. There is a D -ring on it and or there are two elastic bands that your radio antenna goes through. if your mic - clip is flat it wont clip on the D-ring. **Q: Can the pouch fit an escape respirator?
