Pay attention to how your bristles look: If they seem tired before 3 months, it most likely means you are brushing too hard. Release the pressure you are applying on your teeth and gums that could cause enamel damage and gum recession.  Yes, it depends on the brusher and not the toothbrush. If you have a heavy hand, the bristles might wear out sooner. Remember that the key determinant is not the calendar but the shape the bristles are in. There are no antibiotics.  The nano silver (I believe it's called) does inhibit bacterial growth.

You can keep the brush longer than any other brush (4-5 months) vs changing your brush every 3 months. The bristles are made out of polyester (stronger material and more expensive than nylon), meaning it comes back in shape better and don't bend as fast.
