CIVIVI Elementum II is one of those rare everyday carry knives that immediately makes you understand why the Elementum line has become so popular. After carrying and using it regularly, it feels like a knife designed with an incredible amount of restraint and attention to detail. Nothing feels excessive, yet almost everything feels refined. The first thing that stood out to me was how smooth the action is. Deployment feels fast and satisfying without being overly aggressive, and the button lock design makes opening and closing the knife feel effortless. It quickly becomes one of those knives you absentmindedly fidget with because the mechanical feel is just that enjoyable. The 2.96" Nitro-V blade has also been excellent in real-world use. It arrives sharp, holds an edge well, and handles everyday cutting tasks with ease. Whether opening packages, breaking down boxes, cutting cord, or general utility work, the blade shape feels incredibly practical. It strikes a nice balance between precision and durability without trying to look overly tactical. The Ultem handle gives the knife a unique look while still remaining lightweight and comfortable in hand. What I appreciated most is that the knife carries easily in the pocket without feeling bulky or intrusive. It disappears when you’re not using it, which is exactly what a good EDC knife should do. Build quality across the entire knife feels outstanding for the price. Lockup feels secure, tolerances are tight, and everything about it gives the impression of a much more expensive knife. CIVIVI continues to hit that sweet spot where affordability and quality overlap in a way that’s becoming harder to find. Overall, the Elementum II feels like a modern EDC knife done right. It’s clean, practical, reliable, and genuinely enjoyable to carry and use every day. Whether you’re already into knives or looking for your first quality pocket knife, this is an easy 5-star recommendation.

I used to be an exclusive Benchmade person. Those are great high quality knives but the price keeps going up where they average $200 or so. I was in the need of a sub-3" knife for my EDC but didn't want to spend $200. The CIVIVI Elementum II was recommended to me so I wanted to give it a try, and why not for $70. First the knife arrived right away, in a box with a nice lined case. I'll never use the case since this is my EDC, but it was a nice addition to store your knife if you are not going to carry everyday. First impression of the blade was that it was gorgeous. Mine was a black blade with stainless wavy Damascus steel pattern. If you like Damascus steel pattern on you blades, then this will not disappoint. You can tell immediately that this is a pattern weld Damascus steel and not laser-etched, the pattern goes all the way around the blade including the spine. The feel of the knife was perfect for my hand. Not too thick so it conceals well in my pocket but thick enough to get a good grip on the handle. The handle feels sturdy and solid, having a nice weigh to it. The blade opens easily with a simple flip. I found it easy to open and close the blade with one hand. The blade lock is a nice feature. Once the blade is open and locked in, it was secure and did not feel like it would move during use. The best part was how sharp the blade was. The blade was easily just as sharp as my Benchmade blades. Easily sliced through paper, tomatoes and some meat (I tested on various things that I would normally use my knife for around the house). The blade stayed sharp after use, but I have not used it enough to comment on how long it will hold its edge. Overall, I'm very happy with his purchase.
