Installed it in an external enclosure and got 450mbps read and write speeds and in a enclosure it makes a lightweight portable hard drive to take with you wherever you go. I used it with a icy box Msata to usb adaptor and it’s great

Yes, it is Ideal for Compatible Motherboards which good but later motherboards have a different interface. I have rated it as 4 Stars because the mounting requires 2 small special screws that were not provided. I did mount is securely in the end but not as well as I would have liked. The performance when in this case, reinstalling the Windows 10 Operating system, was great and activation was automatic as the computer configuration had a Digital Microsoft Licence. It does allow for a configuration change like the Hard Drive but from previous experience, more problematic if the Motherboard is changed.

Very good for the price, with a brand name you can trust. Easy to set up, just remember to format it via a disk manager programme to register the device and so it shows up on your computer directory

It works for my Lenovo y500. Just you need to format you new ssd before you remove old hard disk so you can easily install new system on new ssd. My laptop system start times improve from 3 min to 15 sec from pressing power button. I reccomend this

I don't often use the word Wowzers, but Wowzers! What a difference. Bought for my 7 year old laptop. Boot times were around 90 secs to 2 mins. Now 17 seconds from switch on to desktop. And I don't need a caddy. In terms of bang for buck there is surely no more cost effective way of improving the performance of your laptop. I've been using SSD'S for several years on my PC but was not expecting such a massive improvement in boot, load and overall snappiness. Highly recommended. Glad I discovered this mysterious mSata slot. No idea what it was until a few days ago. I can keep my optical drive now and send my caddy back!

IDE変換アダプターと一緒に使用しています。フォーマット、インストール問題なく終了。相性問題なく動いています。転送速度も大事ですが、相性が良いのも大事です。耐久性はこれからですね。

I used this to upgrade my dell e6440 in the mini card spot and it worked great! Install was a breeze. My power up/app opening times are easily 5x faster than before. The computer has no lag! I tried to use the cloning software from the Kingston website but I wasnt able to get it to work. Once I finally got it to work with a different cloning software, it's amazing. The process was simple for me. 1) physically install the SSD, 2) go to disk manager and initialize the SSD, 3) create new volume on the SSD, 4) using a cloning software, clone the origional HD onto the SSD, 5) boot into BIOS and change the boot order so that SSD is primary boot.
