Outside dimensions are approximately 4.75 in. x 4.75 in. x 3 in. The 25 compartments are slightly over 0.75 in. x 0.75 in. Plenty of room for 12-, 16-, and 20-gauge shells up to 3 in. in length -- just as advertised.

This has a removable converter for going from 20ga to 12ga. With the converter in they are +/- .715", and with the converter screen removed the holes are +/- .850".
