Works great! It’s better than using caulking or putty and there’s no mess to deal with. I used it when I replaced the water heater in my camper. There was enough “tape” to go around the small opening on the outside of the camper. The package also comes with 20 1” self tapping screws as an added extra bonus. I didn’t need to use any of the screws, I just reused the original ones. Once installed the tape is very sticky but easy to maneuver. The tape holds tight and creates a great water tight seal. The finish product looks just like it came from the factory, there are no clumps or bunched globs of caulking around the corners of the heater. This tape is also flexible, I was able to stretch it in order ensure a great fit and a great looking finish.

Ordered a new fan and this kit back on March 22nd 2021. Finally had nice enough weather to get my fan installed today. Which happens to be May 14th 2021. This kit has sat in a box in my home since it was ordered. I've used butyl tape in the past so handling it is nothing new for me. Packaging was easy to open. Screws sealed separately in their own bag inside the main package. The roll of tape was soft and flexible. It went on the fan with zero issues. Tore to size easily. Paper backing came right off. I put the fan into its hole and pressed down firmly. Little to no oozing of tape from under the fan. I waited a minute and gave the fan a light tug and it was stuck to the roof. The screws started easily and ran into the wooden frame underneath the fan effortlessly. Finished tightening them to snug by hand. I found no issues with this kit. If I ever find myself in the position to change out a fan or do a fresh install as this fan was, I will definitely buy this kit again.

Good for the job, resealed heater vent and hot water tank, great that it comes with new screws also, great value.

So far so good. No leaks, worked great. Great quality. Only concern was I bought an extra set of tape last minute to ensure I had enough.
