Worth the price
It is must for any filmmakers or any other purpose for achieving best audio quality. all though it may sound bad if you connect it to camera slot and record. So i recommend you to purchase Zoom H1 Digital audio recorder along with this for great experience. Thumbs up ^^

Doesn't cut noise like a proper shotgun !
It doesn't perform like a shotgun at all ! i hoped this would cut the ambient noise and stick to the sound that it is being pointed at ! Dissapointed a bit ! even with the low pass filter on ! but for a start its is a great mic ! The warranty provided by RODE is amazing...
