I bought this not realizing it was castile soap. I don't typically use bar or castile soaps because of the residue they leave on my skin. The first ingredient here is coconut oil, & more than anything, my skin feels moisturized after use. Lightly oiled.I wanted something that had a distinct natural wood scent, & after reading the reviews (someone said it smells like moldy wood lol) I knew I'd love this. It's definitely a strong, natural scent. My partner says it smells like the lumber aisle of home depot. Both me & bathroom smell like wood for a good while after I shower. This was exactly what I was going for.-1 star bc the texture takes a little getting used to, but otherwise, I love the stuff so far.

A small dollop of this soap stretches very long but the smell is not pleasant. I prefer the Cascade scent.Also the ingredients listed on the bottle are the same despite being different scents, which is weird. Maybe they’re cutting costs by using one bottle?

Reminiscent of camping in the pinon/juniper forests in the Providence Mountains of the Eastern Mojave. Be nice if it was available in a larger bottle.

Love it. Works great as shampoo and shaving cream.

My husband bought the Cedar soap for himself and it leaves the entire house smelling like a moldy christmas tree after he showers. he seems to really like it, but for the rest of us ... holy moly.

That was wasted money! I come from a land full of cedars.. and this smelled nothing like cedars. It's more like dirt! It's so awful i immediately threw it in the trash.

Smells great, has a fresh not perfume fragrance. Lathers very well so a little cleans well. Will buy again and try other

Tried 6 oz size and Loved the scent, ordered 3 x 8 oz and they had no scent at all! Waste of my money!
