I really like this all-metal stand! It's very lightweight and the build quality is excellent - EVERYTHING except the soft PVC coating of the clamp prongs is metal. There is absolutely no flex in any parts except the clamp and it feels rock solid when placed on a flat surface. There is even nice quality silicone-like feet on the bottom of the stand to prevent it from skidding around your table. While this inexpensive but great quality stand is marketed as a microscope holder I found a ton of other uses on my workbench including holding my flux dispensing syringe and keeping repair parts in place. Recommended!

This stand is strong, holds its position well, and is very stable. I use my microscope almost daily (the stock stand broke) and have yet to have a problem with this item. I question whether the tension will last long term, but at this price point I’m not sure if that matters? I’m very satisfied with this product and do recommend it. The review guide questions the “coolness” of this item. To me, this stand is adequately cool. I think that owning this stand makes people like me more.

It's incredibly lightweight yet feels very sturdy, with excellent build quality—almost everything is metal apart from the soft PVC coating on the clamp prongs. This gives it a solid feel when placed on my workbench, and the silicone-like feet prevent it from sliding around, which is a big plus. On the downside, while the clamp is a bit flexible, it's not a major issue for me. I like that this stand is much more affordable than similar options on the market.
