These wash machine cleaning tablets are wonderful! I feel like they help deep clean the machine. They don’t have any odor or overpowering smell. Easy to use once a month or so to freshen up your washer! We have one cat and usually never notice a problem with pet hair, but knowing this might be breaking it down in a “behind the scenes” sort of way is nice too. Easy to pop out and put in the bottom of the washer and run the clean cycle! Individually wrapped as well so storage doesn’t depend on the box they come in!

This stuff really works! I’ve been dealing with moldy mildew, smell for years and nothing worked until now! My washer smells fresh like never before, the gunk is gone and even the gaskets are clean! I would 1000% recommend this to anyone who has cats or dogs. It’s the best!

I purchased these Uproot Clean washing machine cleaner tablets mainly because they were marketed toward pet owners dealing with odors, hair, and buildup inside the washer. The tablets are simple to use, dissolve properly during the cleaning cycle, and do leave the machine smelling fresher immediately afterward. Packaging and instructions are straightforward, and having a 12-month supply is convenient from a maintenance standpoint. For routine maintenance cleaning, they perform adequately and help freshen the drum and internal components between deeper cleanings. They’re easy enough to keep on hand and use periodically without much effort. The reason this isn’t a higher rating is that the product feels somewhat overhyped compared to the actual results. While it does provide basic cleaning and deodorizing, I didn’t notice a dramatic improvement specifically related to pet hair or deeper buildup compared to other washing machine cleaners I’ve used. It works okay, but the marketing creates expectations that the real-world performance doesn’t fully match.

I wasn't really sure about this item. I've been using Afresh for quite a while and it works OK for cleaning the inside of the tub, it never really got the gunk out from inside the machine. We have a relatively new LG that began stinking the joint up. I used the Uproot on the 1st of the month with a deep water setting and I believe that it worked. Then I used Afresh afterward. That combination really did the trick. It is mid month now and I am getting absolutely no odors from that machine. I think the combo is the key. This is a really good product, high value and speedy in the way it works. Don't hesitate on this one!
