It is a gutter mount ! - but this is also an amazing mount for the wireless cameras we have all over the INSIDE of our house ! Some cams are hanging high up attached to the top of white cabinets and some are attached to the silvery metal horizontal bars of our stair railings - and all of them are fixed in place and super stable with this mount. The camera attaches to a screw which is attached to a ball that can be rotated freely in all directions within the housing - it is fantastic to be able to loosen the thumbscrew to swivel the camera up and down and side to side in all directions and then tighten the thumbscrew to secure it at the angle you like. The mount itself is secured to the attachment site with two screws and wingnuts which are also super easy to use - this also allows even more flexibility and options for coverage because you can adjust the angle of the mount and then adjust the camera attachment as well. The only caution is that the metal bracket (the part that fits over the railing or cabinet edge or gutter rail or whatever) is a fixed width - just be sure to measure and compare to the measurements in the listing if you think your attachment point might be too wide. It's easy for sure to use the screws and wingnuts to secure the mount to a smaller width. I'm not sure how well I'm explaining this but we are totally 100% happy with this purchase - we ordered the first two-pack - and it worked so well and blended into the surroundings so well that we ordered two more two-packs the same day to replace the mounts we were using for the rest of the cams that are hanging. Highly recommended ! !

I bought a few of these over the years for the mini cameras we have around the house. And these have worked flawlessly over the years. They have made a slight design change for the better on the recent shipment. I received summer of 25 where they removed some of the plastic from the screws and went with all metal thumb screws. This change is a welcome change has some of the plastic on the screws on the original ones. They have had deteriorated, exposing the bolts and screws which are still accessible for tightening. Another change on the newer models is that the leveling ball seems to have some indents in it which make for better securing of the angle and keep the cameras from sagging eventually. As I said, I’ve had very little issues with these and would recommend them to anybody looking to add some gutter mounts for their cameras. If I had to recommend any change, it would be that they include a metal bar that you could put in between the two screws and melt to the gutter and the gutter wall itself so that you don’t have to screw the screws all the way in. As I said, I would highly recommend these for anybody looking to use them for their cameras
