A honest, comprehensive and unbiased review after using the 3m shampoo: The 3M car wash shampoo is great for removing marks left on your car such as tar, road grime and dirt/muck/slush stains. It is also useful for removing bird poop which may be present and stuck on the roof / doors of your vehicle with minimum effort. I have been washing my car by myself after using this shampoo along with a microfibre cloth as it helps to get the work done with minimal effort and most of all does not cause any scratches to the paint surface even if you have have the worst of dirt on your vehicle. Also washing your car yourself has the added advantage of not scratching the paint of your vehicle because you need minimum scrubbing after using this shampoo directly on tough dirt and road grime. If you give your vehicle to a car wash guy in your building or locality, most probably you would have thousands of micro scratches and some major ones also on your vehicle as these people are least bothered about your vehicle and they use a single dirty rag or towel in a single bucket of dirty muddy water for 2-3 vehicles. When sand trapped on an ordinary rag wipes against your vehicles paint, it causes scratches on your vehicles paint clear coat which is very expensive to get rid off. The solution to this problem is washing your car yourself with a good car wash shampoo and a microfiber cloth by the two bucket method ( many videos of this on youtube). This car wash shampoo by 3M is extremely useful and though it looks a bit on the expensive side, it really pays off and is worth it because when used with a microfibre cloth (also sold by 3M), it helps to remove all stains and dirt from your car with minimum effort and also leaves behind a wax shine that lasts for a week even after washing the vehicle again with plain water. The 3M shampoo provides a lot of lather, in fact more than enough if you add just 5 ml of this shampoo to a bucket full of clean water. Washing my car using this 3M shampoo by following the two bucket method in which one bucket is filled with plain water and another bucket filled with plain water to which 5ml of 3M car wash shampoo is added and also using a microfibre cloth (sold by 3M or abro) has provided me such excellent results that I am left very happy and smiling each time I look at my car, and the work looks done by a professional detailing car cleaning shop. Infact the main advantage of using a specially formulated car wash shampoo is that it helps immensely to remove tar road marks with such ease which no other ordinary shampoo (dishwash, Hair shampoo, cif or jif) can provide. Also the lather provided by using this shampoo helps to remove stuck and stubborn dirt and stains with minimum scrubbing so that there are no scratches on the outer clear coat surface of the car paint. It is no point using some ordinary shampoo just to save money instead of the 3M auto shampoo because using cheap alternative shampoo will not remove stains and dirt so easily as the 3M does and besides you will have to scrub a lot more to remove stain marks with other shampoos which will finally result in scratches to the clear coat paint surface of your vehicle which is very expensive to remove and will require a professional car paint shop to remove. This shampoo by 3M IS specially formulated for use in vehicles and it shows. It does not look like a shampoo that has been repackaged and labelled by 3M. Some might not want to spend this amount of money on a shampoo and might want to still use cheaper alternatives, but I can confidently say that after using this shampoo for almost a year, my car paint has remained extremely clean, with absolutely no scratches picked up while washing the vehicle due to the use of this shampoo along with a microfibre cloth. A microfibre cloth purchase is a must along with this shampoo if you don’t have one because it helps to trap dirt very easily and does not scratch your paint surface. All those who love their vehicle and would like it to not catch any scratches while washing their vehicle will never regret this purchase and even if you don’t wash your car yourself you can give it to the person who washes your car as it will help to remove road dirt easily with less scrubbing and hence less scratches to the vehicle paint. This product has given me excellent results time and again and I am very happy with my purchase.

Good shampoo on discounted price. Packaging was excellent. Scent is good, not too strong. Good cleaning, no water spot, smooth finish. 15ml to 20ml for one bucket is enough.

I earlier bought a smaller bottle and I felt it was very thick shampoo. This 1 litre bottle feels like a little diluted. Otherwise the product is good.

Shampoo is very good and better then wavex easily dissolves in water and forms very thick foam. Cleans easily hard stains like hard water and bitumen. Shampoo can also be used as windshield fluid one ine coin size drop is enough for full tank. Provides much value as compared to windshield fluid
