HLauto 2002L Emergency Dash Strobe Lights: Amber White Safety Lights, Flashing Warning Hazard Windshield Visor Traffic Light Bars for Trucks, Construction Vehicles (2x8.5 inch, 48LED)

I purchased the HLauto 2002L strobe lights in green/white, and they exceeded my expectations. Installation was very simple thanks to the strong suction cups and the cigarette lighter plug — I had them up and running in just a few minutes. The brightness is impressive. Even during the daytime, the lights are clearly visible. The flashing patterns are attention-grabbing and work great for emergency situations, roadside assistance, or safety signaling. The cable length is adequate, and the switch is convenient and easy to use. The build quality feels solid and durable. After multiple uses, they continue to perform perfectly. Overall, a great product for the price. Highly recommended.

Absolutely killer lights but when mounted at the top of the windshield there’s a lot of Light Pollution. It really would not take much to seal the off with some type of rubber so it don’t splatter everywhere. Black duct tape does work well but don’t look pretty. It really depends on if you don’t mind the splatter too. I have two sets so it was causing huge problems.

Quick shipment and packaged efficiently. LEDs are bright and noticeable, however from a distance the amber lights looked more white and blended in with the white strobes when flashing. Each unit is light weight and they feel like there is more housing than what is needed. Nothing wrong with it, just seems that maybe the units could be smaller for mounting on the window and take up less window space. Plastic housings do seem to be durable and can take the occasional drop. Mounting brackets are ok, but has a bit of an issue keeping the supplied suction cups attached to the curved, front window because the bracket couldn't conformed for a curved surface. Defiantly need to mount on a warm day and need to check periodically to make sure suction cups stay attached. Plenty of cord for mounting options and placement. Wires are nice and thick and seem like they should stand up well. For the cost, they do seem to be a value

Great lights, bright and easy to install. Suction cups need to be thrown away. Buy a set of air lock or twist mount suction cups with studs to mount bracket to glass. You are basically buying the "lights" not the mounting system.

Bright enough but quality of housing is as expected etc.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Well I have to say for money these work damn well. I read the reviews before my purchase and other than one defective unit which sometime happens, the only other bad reviews seemed to be about the suction cups. That in mind when I got my first set (I have two now) I took the suction cups out and laid them on the dash in the sun. I then windex'd the crap out of the windshield. At first they didn't seem to stay well and then I figured out that I was sticking the on part of the windshield border that is not smooth enough to keep the suction for longer than a day or less in the hot sun. So I started over, cleaned the crap out of the windshield cleaned the cups then made sure they were stuck to the smooth part of the glass. Ever since then they have been rock solid and not once come down. So again for the money these are great!! Just thought I would share.

Works well. Easy install. Sticky pads aren't the best- heat has caused them to come off once in the past few weeks- I expect that will be a regular occurrence. Wish it came with more replacement sticky pads for the suction cups. The cups without them are pretty useless.
