Excellent Performance and Smooth Engine Operation
I recently switched to Mobil 1 5W-30 for my 2009 Hyundai i10 after using Shell Helix 5W-30 fully synthetic for years. I’ve now completed 500 km with this oil, and I am thoroughly impressed with the results. The engine runs noticeably smoother, and the overall driving experience feels enhanced. The cold starts are seamless, and the engine operates quietly even during extended drives. Mobil 1’s superior formulation seems to provide excellent lubrication and heat management, which is critical for an older car like mine. Comparing it to Shell Helix, Mobil 1 feels a step ahead in terms of smoothness and responsiveness. My fuel efficiency has also slightly improved, which is an added bonus. I would highly recommend Mobil 1 5W-30 to anyone looking to keep their car in top-notch condition, especially for older models like the i10. Good Choice of Engine Oil, but Wrong Packaging.
Mobil Super All in One Protection X1 Formula FE 5W-30 Review Pros: Noticeable improvement in car performance after switching to this oil. Works very well with my Ford Figo Diesel, providing smooth engine operation and good protection. Being fully synthetic, it offers better engine cleanliness and longevity compared to mineral or semi-synthetic oils. Cons: The product comes only in a 3.5L can, which is not sufficient for a full oil change with filter replacement in most cars (like my Ford Figo Diesel, which needs about 4L). There is no 1L top-up pack available for purchase, making it inconvenient if you need just a little more oil. Mobil customer support was unable to assist in sourcing a 1L top-up bottle. As a result, you are forced to buy another 3.5L can just for a small top-up, which is not cost-effective and leads to unnecessary leftover oil. I gave 3/5 as its not recommended to use the car with incomplete oil capacity. Summary: While the oil quality and performance are excellent, the packaging size and lack of top-up options are major drawbacks. It would be much more convenient if Mobil offered a 1L pack for top-ups, especially for customers who need just a bit more than 3.5L for a complete oil change. Read your car user manual thoroughly before making the purchase.
