Review: Great light for needlepoint projects - Overall - I love this light and will buy one for my parents (who also needlepoint). Brightness: I have been struggling to find a light that is bright, but not too bright that can illuminate my needlepoint projects while I’m on the couch watching movies or tv with my husband, who likes to have minimal light in the room. I’ve used a really neat light that goes around my neck and that was great, but my husband would complain it was too bright so I had to turn it off as soon as I turned it on. But this new light is different and he is fine with it, which is perfect. The clip: so some feedback on the clip - I tried clipping it to the smooth plastic or metal parts of my stand and it kept slipping off/not getting a good grip. I switched to clipping to the frame of my project and it works great. Also, if you have a thick frame for your project, it might not get wide enough so you may have to get creative there. The button/sensor: I tend to accidentally tap where the sensor is while moving my project so it lights up, which is a little annoying, but it’s not bad and if my hands aren’t near it, it doesn’t go off, so that’s good. But when I do want to use it, it’s easy to use and there are a few brightness settings, which is great. Charging: I’ve had it for a couple of months now and haven’t needed to charge it yet, so it has a good battery life.

The clip is very strong and tight and will clip on the smallest of edges and stay put... I bought it for my little boys desk that he wanted for Christmas and the rim edge is very narrow but the light clipped on very well and hasn’t moved.. The arm from the clip to the light is a soft rubber texture and it is bendable so u can adjust it to any position. The light has a soft soothing cover. Not too bright or too dim on any 3 modes. The light as a whole is the perfect size and very impressed with its durability. And my absolute favorite feature is one that I didn’t even know it had! I just came across the light; loved the look of it and breifly read over the description. But anyways it is touch sensitive to dim or brighten... It has 3 different modes of light and just takes a light tap to again change the brightness. It comes with a charger so it does NOT have to be plugged in all the time. So it would even be great for travel and if needed charged; its charger fits any cell port. (Wall or car charger) Have been using it on and off daily for a week now and have only charged it once and not because it was dead but just thought maybe I should. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS PRODUCT.. I am so very excited and pleased that I found this product. I am actually getting ready to order 3 more because they are so handy anywhere and any room in the the house and not to have to drag a cord around or be close to a plug in. **Q: Is it safe to use this light while reading in the bath tub?**
A: The Vont clip-on reading light is not waterproof. Hence, we don't advise using it while reading in the bathtub.

**Q: What type of USB cable charger does it come with?**
A: Mine is micro USB into light(NOT type C) other end is USB-A

**Q: What is the wattage of the light?**
A: 2.4 W    The light intensity has 3 levels;  Brightness 600 lx

**Q: Will this only work if the battery is operational, if it's plugged in will it still work?**
A: The cord for the plug in is only about 3 feet long, but it does not need to be plugged in to operate. It operates unplugged for approximately 2 hours maybe a little more, but I have not really timed it. Adequate time though. Charging also does not take long. 
Has a 3 touch light setting, so the brightness used also depends on the longevity of it staying charged. 

Great light. Sands on its own or you can clip it. Easy to manipulate and very light weight. The light is more of a white light, which I enjoy. 

You can’t go wrong for the price and it also comes with a warranty. Win win

Overview: This LED clip reading light by Vont is very stylish-looking upon first impression. It is well designed and simple to use right out of the box. Packaging: The light was well packaged in the box (although I would have preferred to have it wrapped in bubble wrap for added protection). Instructions: The instructions are displayed on a small, single slip of paper. They are easy to follow and provide all the necessary information for using the light. Ease of Use: The product is very simple. It has a clip to hold onto another object (e.g. a book). In addition, the bottom the of clip can serve as a base for free-standing use due to two rubber pads on the bottom. I like this option, as I don't always have something to clip the light onto. To activate the light, you simple touch the square "button" on the base. Brightness of Light: The light has three levels of brightness. This provides more than adequate options for different light settings. Battery: This is the only thing that I wasn't completely happy with for this product. The instructions state that the battery requires 12 hours to fully charge. Out of the box, it was charged (at least partially), even though the instructions state to initially charge it for 8 hours. This sounds like an excessive amount of time to charge the batteries. I do not know the lifespan of a single charge, though. Summary: Overall, I'm giving this product 4 stars. It would have received 5 stars if not for the battery charging time. All in all, this is a very nice product that should provide you a nice experience.
