I love this backpack for my personal item when flying. It’s large enough to be useful and small enough to conform to the size restrictions of any airline. It’s a decent quality and it folds up beautifully. I love that it has a zippered pocket on the back side, and I was also pleasantly surprised to find that the front compartment has two zippers thus enabling me to put a travel lock on it.

The media could not be loaded. I have not yet used the item long term and cannot vouch for how long-lasting and durable the material is or how much the straps stand up to constant use (etc etc) but this small backpack is overall better than a drawstring bag at least in my opinion. The straps are thicker and also they are designed to have ventilation for when you are out and carrying this pack on your shoulders on a hot day. The bag can fold in its own carry pouch and it is good that the pouch is designed to be on the body of the bag so that it cannot become separated from the bag like a carry pouch that is not attached to the bag.The material has a robust feel. The zippers are of basically good quality and there are two two-way zippers on the main compartment. This is always a plus.The small carry pouch folds into the pack and zippers-up so that you can also use it as a smaller compartment to put in keys or maybe even a cell phone of a certain size. It is also good that the small carry pouch is at the upper part of the backpack. This makes for better ergonomics and distribution of weight. If the carry pouch were on a lower part of the backpack it could create a "pendulum" type of motion as you move and carry the pack with the bottom of the pack being particularly heavy.Of course to reach the smaller compartment you would have to take off the backpack off from your shoulders to reach for your keys or wallet, and anything you have in the smaller compartment could be uncomfortable touching your back as you wear the pack. If the smaller compartment were on the front of the pack you may also have to do this but overall it would be better if the small pouch were designed to be on the front of the bag than just at the back of the bag (the part that touches your back as you wear the pack).But this seems to be a nice pack to have around in case you just need to bring a few things with you. It could be good for minimalist travel if you don't need to bring a lot of things; maybe some basic toiletries such as toothbrush, floss and comb, some underwear, and socks, an extra pair of lightweight pants or shorts and a T-shirt and your phone and charger and probably a small laptop and charger. If you pack the right way you can fit quite a bit.I will update according to my findings

This is my second Waterfly bag, and I bought it because I loved the first one, a small travel shoulder bag that has become an everyday staple.The same ingenious design went into this folding backpack. Unlike similar bags with a separate container pouch, the Waterfly pouch (about 3" x 5") is part of the bag itself, and turns into a double-zippered back pocket. The main compartment also has the same heavy-duty double zippers.A great little bag to throw in your carry-on!

Great weight and travelability. Love this bag!

We took this to Key West. It was perfect for wearing around town. It is comfortable and can hold a lot. If fact it held two snorkels, two face masks, a towel and still had room for more. Love that it folds into its own pocket. Also, it takes up hardly any room in my carry on. Love the blue/gray color and quality. Highly reccomend!

Perfect for taking on a trip where you need a lightweight backpack, so you are hands free. You can fit a jacket, umbrella, and several other items and the pack is comfortable.

Clear bag containing backpack was taped closed because the zipper tab was broken and it was very concerning that the bag contained a good many seeds from some kind of plant. Obviously a prior returned item but not cleaned or repackaged.

The bag is perfect, not too big, not too small. I use it almost everyday. Light weight. Comfortable to wear this backpack or carry in hand. I like the way it is made and how it looks. And it can carry a lot of things, plenty of room.
