Great camera. I figured I’d try these after a camera I had failed. The night time lighting from the single flood model is really good. Another review said you needed a special base, which I bought. You don’t need it. The camera comes off the base so you can mount the case & then re-attach the camera. Picture quality is very good.

(8MP/4K) The clarity of this camera is excellent during both day and night. Better than many cameras costing much more than the $52 price of this camera. At night the I.R. lighting illuminates the entire field of view, not just the center like a spotlight. (The attached night picture is illuminated by only the camera's IR LED’s- no other lighting) You will not get color images at night from this camera or any camera unless there is sufficient ambient lighting. If not it will automatically switch to nighttime IR. The 2MP cameras are cheaper and the image quality is low just like the price. Spend a little more and get cameras that can actually produce images you can use to identify a person or vehicle. That’s the reason for having cameras in the first place.

When purchased I thought the Cams had color night vision. They are not. But they work and the image is sharp. Good buy.

The camera quality is ok during the day, however it has a horrible quality for night vision. The picture is very foggy grayed out as you can see from the picture attached. No information on warranty. You are out of luck if outside the return window as there is no support.

I have 15 years of experience with cctv camera’s and this camera could be perhaps the best cctv camera I have ever owned. The cameras for a bnc connection provide an amazing Picture. The illumination quality provides a colourfully bright picture not just during the day but impressively at night also. I own a few properties and have switched to these cameras at all of my different homes. Pro’s - Camera is oem Dahua (lorex) but sold third party as R-tech - Very customizable OSD menu which allows you to tinker camera settings to perfection. - These cameras provide a strong led light at night to provide excellent color night vision. They are excellent for mounting on the front of a house where there are existing street lamp light source or somewhere where a night light source is present. The camera’s led’s enhance that light and the picture is incredible at night - Warm color temp picture which provides excellent contract -2.8 mm lens is the widest lens so with criss cross front yard cameras, you can achieve blanket cctv coverage fairly easily - best mounting bracket and bracket adjustability in the cctv industry - high quality metal construction and these cameras are fully compatible with Dahua metal mounting brackets. Con’s - No knocks on this camera, I just wish the line in had a osd joystick for consumers to easily access the cameras software settings. However it is very easy to access camera software settings from the dvr by going into PTZ settings and clicking on Iris + button for the camera that’s connected.

Can’t believe how cheap these became... great value . Good picture but for my next camera I would do minimum 8mp. These just don’t read car license plates more than 30ft away

The image is crisp for 1080 and wide angle lense isn’t a fisheye, which means they have a very good anamorphic lens or internal processing. I am not a fan of the color rendering, some pictures it’s washed out others it’s too red. Generally a sign of low video processing, if you are ok with a very visible red led in the dark and all the other stuff, then this is the camera for you, less than $30/ camera. I preferred the TVI output over the others. The IR distance is only good for 60ft. It might go 80-90ft but not a very usable image.
