I believe control measures were put in place since those reviews! My frames were individually placed in bubble wrap “envelopes” with cardboard in between each frame, all 4 frames were placed together within styrofoam blocking, then into a form fitting box that was, itself, within another box surrounded by big air bubble protection packets! Zero damage! The “glass” of the frames is actually pale I glass but each one has a protective plastic sticky layer on each side. Once you peel that off and put your pics in the frames, you literally cannot tell it’s not real glass. At least I couldn’t. You need to peel the protective cover from the front and back of each plexiglass piece, which is easy if you rub your thumb down from the corner a few times until it starts to peel, then grab it and pull the rest of the way. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Good for the price *by A***S on Reviewed in the United States on August 9, 2018* There is a small note in each frame that asks you to remove the peel/film from each clear covering. It’s not glass, but it looks close enough. Just make sure you remove the films.Also, the backing is off white, not crisp white like the frame.
