It still works and will do as a spare. Also the metal sides of 26550 can burn hands - NOT recommended for children! The 800W Eden gives better control of toast colour and its sides are always cool and safe! At £18 it was too good to. miss! I miss the lift and check facility but otherwise very pleased - sorry I didn’t spend the extra £6 for yellow one to match my wife’s choice of kitchen walls.
