I wanted to get my DMX Controller out of the way, and so I bought this USB to DMX cable. It took me a minute to learn the software, but that's no fault of the cable; once I figured that all out, I was able to get the lights going the way that I had them going with the physical controller. As far as the cable itself, it feels like a very sturdy cable, and it's simply plug-and-play so you just have to get some software and figure it out. Once I got it, I was able to easily create scenes with zero issues whatsoever. If you're getting into using your computer for lighting, I highly recommend this cable, as it's inexpensive and just works.

It works exactly as it is supposed to. It’s affordable and reliable and every DMX software I’ve tried recognizes it immediately.

Works as intended to control light bar. Requires a third party application of your choosing. The manual for my light bar laid out the addresses for each light and I was able to program them appropriately. Works with both paid and free apps. Plug and play.
