I bought this pool cover because I remember us having one when I was younger to help with heating the pool and keeping it clean. It seems odd but I do remember them working. Luckily the price has gone down over the years and they are more readily available. It does work, not only for heating the pool and keeping it clean, but also for water retention. After putting the cover on the pool I have not had to fill it as the water loss is so small. The traps and filters remain clean even after storms and the temperature is noticeably warmer. We have large trees and the debris just lands on top or bounces off and blows away. I got a larger size rectangle and just cut it to the size of our organic shaped pool. It was pretty easy to cut but the material is sturdy, I can see it lasting a long time. Back in the days these covers used to be $$$ but at the price they are offering this shipped, it’s a no brainer just to try it out. It doesn’t look “pretty” but it does a good job. You can remove the cover and fold it in minutes if need be. Photo is of the first day, I have since made further cuts to get it to fit better…

Wow! We could not believe how much this pool cover helped our pool. First of all, right out of the box we could tell it was made of a good quality, thick material. It is super helpful that one person can cover and uncover the pool, if you leave the pump on to help move the cover around. The size is a perfect fit for our pool and we only cut a couple slits for the cover to fit around the pool ladder legs. Not only does the cover warm our pool up, it helps retain that heat during cooler nights. Added Bonus is that the cover kept a ton of oak pollen and tree blooms out of the pool this spring.

Works very well retaining heat and minimizing evaporation at night, even when the outside temperature drops to 50’s, which is much improved from thinner covers. The bubbles are smaller than other covers I’ve had which makes it much thinner rolled up. The density and the fact that it is more compact on the roll makes it MUCH easier to roll onto a reel. I find it heats the pool exactly like any other covers I’ve used. It is well made. I would buy it again!

I have been really impressed by the performance of this product! Can’t believe how well this cover warmed my pool, and how quickly. High quality material. Seams very durable. I expect it will last years before having to be replaced. I spent a long time researching my options. Glad I decided to go with this one. You will too.

I gave it a 4 star because it gas a black side on the bottom and not certain it let's heat from sun thru. Also, it seems to sink a bit on the ends if not fully extended, letting water on top. Material seems to be high quality but the air bubbles are smaller then conventional cover. Not sure if it worth the extra price...time will tell if it keeps heat in.

I wish I would have purchased this cover years ago! I purchased this cover at the end of March 2026, just before the pool season started. Th weather was warm enough by June to start using it. I purchased the 20' by 40' size since our pool is somewhat kidney shaped with dimensions of 17' by 38'. By mid-June the pool was heated up to 91 degrees one day! Currently it is anywhere from 85 to 89 degrees and we haven't even started the hot months (July, August). A couple times we left the cover off during the night just to cool the pool down. It definitely is a two person job to cover and uncover the pool. We never did cut it to fit, we just cover it and is and use rocks and pool chairs to help it stay in place (wind). My wife and I think it was well worth the money for us. Really holds the heat in overnight and warms the pool up efficiently during sunlight.

This is a nice heavy solar cover, it is very durable. The size was perfect for my pool, and it warms the water very quickly over a few days.

Great Fit. The seams are welded properly. The finished edges are cut square for easy install onto a roller system to store when not in use. My pool retains its temp within 2-4 degrees over night depending on the season, until the heater comes on in the AM.
