Functions great, he loves it still fits in with the train track but you do need the peices that connect to open ends to each other otherwise your train track won't connect

My nearly 4 year old loves his new red choo-choo train, and this thing provides hours of play. It does require a charge once in awhile, but I have found that after only about ten minutes or less of charging it is ready to be played with again. It comes with the locomotive and the train car, as well as a remote that has various switches and buttons on it, as well as a tunnel for the train to drive through and which can connect to the other Brio wooden track pieces we have. It also drives very fast so it keeps his attention more than other trains he played with before getting this one. You won't be disappointed!
