I have an 05 F150 the rubber around the cupholder was pulling up from the shrinkage of the foam. The rubber was still good. I bought this hoping to be able to use the base as the original unit in the car broke the tabs when removing. This did not disappoint. This unit is hard solid plastic and 2 piece. The bottom screws in to the hard plastic top. The color was matched. I took apart the bottom to use and attach my old rubber to. I had a local upholster put foam and attach my original rubber to the base of this unit. It turned out good and it snapped right into place. Looks as good as new. It would be a good replacement if you wanted a hard trim around the cup holder,

Fit my 2009 F150 like a glove. Better quality than the original.

The product snapped right in as it should and looks good. would recommend as a replacement option. It is a hard plastic instead of vinyl, but doesn't bother me.

I have a 2001 F-150 with over 206k miles and she is still going strong. Even though it's a 21 year old truck, I try to keep it looking nice. The factory padded center console gave up the ghost and instead of spending a ton of money on getting an OEM one, this one did a great job for very little money. Installing it couldn't have been easier, it just snaps in place once you get the old pad off (which I had to drill out), and just place over the holes where the tabs go in and give it a couple whacks with your fist and it is in place. It's not as comfortable as the OEM unit, but it's not uncomfortable either. It's just firm. One word of advise. This isn't padded and looks to be some sort of molded plastic. You might want to consider taking a file or sandpaper and rounding the bottom edge a bit. The mold makes a sort of sharp edge and while it works perfectly as-is, 2 minutes with a little sandpaper to round the bottom edge (which you will never see when installed) makes for a better feel once installed if your hand passes by it when clicking your seatbelt.
