Good quality product and great value for money - there's a lot of useful components here. Each component I've tested has been functional and easy to use. Everything's fitted how it should ie. the cables etc. very good place to start getting into electronics. My only complaint is there is a box for the non-flexible wires and opening this without spilling wires everywhere is very tricky. Otherwise it's a good product.

Bought for my re interest into electronics. Loads of components for the money. Unfortunately the box they came in was broken, but I will fit them in a bigger case just to see what I have got. Incredible value for money. No wiring diagrams but plenty of advice online.

Nice little set of beginner electronics components. I bought these as a counterpoint to an arduino nano, primarily because it comes with a power supply circuit and breadboard. All in all you can't go wrong with this at the price. Pros: lots of basic components and several varying lengths and colours of connector / jumper wires with pins already attached, making it simple to use them on the breadboard. cons: It's not immediately clear how to use the power supply. Orientate it so that all sets of pins on the underside will slot into their correct polarity outer rail (+ or -) on the breadboard - a sheet of instruction paper might be useful for those of us of the older kind ;). That said, I really like the on/off switch on the actual power supply circuit. again, a really decent kit.

In my opinion a great little starter pack of various electrical components. Looking to put some LED lights into a model I’m going to build and this little set will enable to set up and experiment with the components I may use. For me personally a great set providing a good selection of what I may need at a good price.

I should have bought a dearer set from a specialised dealer.

For starting off this is a very good kit. For real projects you need to get more expensive stuff. But for myself who is only getting into electronics this kit and breadboard is good fun.... not paid review :)

BOJACK 480 Pcs Electronic pieces ========================== Nice starter kit with a wide selection of pieces, including a usb mains power to 3.3/5V power. Even comes supplied with a male usb to male usb cable. There is absolutely no instructions, so you will need to look elsewhere, if you've not used breadboards etc. You tube is great for this though. I remember back in the old days it was dumpster diving for binned electronic items to solder off spare parts - this sure beats that. Would definitely make a nice gift for any one getting into /starting electronics. UPDATE: whilst majority of the components work as expected, some are better than others e.g I found some odd behaviours like the red and yellow diodes not being as bright as as the other coloured leds, a forward bias test with a multimeter shows the red and yellows in my particular set are poor. I still do think its a great starting point tho and usb mains makes it a lot more handy than having to dig around for batteries.
