Works but maybe not the best
Only worked on the backer sheet if I set the blade to full tension. Blade works on a tension basis, nit on an extension basis like a regular knife. So when you cut it pushes up and in. Although it works, if I had thicker backer it would not work well. But still not a bad purchase at all.

Will not cut beyond 1/4 inch.
Nice knife but it does not meet my needs because it will not trim more that 1/4". I use a similar knife for trimming wax off my ski edges but it allows for 1/2" or more blade length to cur off the wax.

still a pretty nifty product
Used it remove tape backing. Can never tell if it cuts and its hard to use it with a guide as it interferes with knife. still a pretty nifty product.
