Xpression Fashion Men's Warm Heavy Padded Lined Bomber Casual Jacket (Black, S)

This jacket is almost exactly what I wanted. I wanted something to wear when working outside in farm environment to keep me warm, dry, comfortable to wear, easy movement and cheap (because very likely to get snagged on thorns, barbed wire, or similar), to replace a very tired jacket I'd had for up to 15 years and need to replace when the shops didn't stock the 'winter clothes'. It scores very good on all these counts, providing very good protection although I haven't experienced the worst of our weather in it yet. The added bonus which I hadn't considered when buying is the elasticated cuffs, which I much prefer to the velco strap because they are less hassle.I was aware that the was no hood. I find the hoods impractical so not an issue.Would have liked a bit more in way of pockets but what it has is adequate.I chose size small - which is default for me on shirts, pullovers etc. I am 5'3" with 36" chest and the S fitted perfectly.I like it so much that whilst it is still relatively clean I prefer wearing it to another costing nearly 4 times the amount.The only slight negative is that the zip is not the best quality and will probably be its downfall. But for the price I'm not complaining because zip technology does seem to be on the decline or where savings are made. Put a better zip on and adjust the price accordingly and it would be excellent.Update 3 years onI was wrong about zip. It has lasted and, fingers crossed, will continue to do so.I was right about getting snagged. I have a slight rip.The problem is they no longer seem to sell the item.
