Great to keep your thermal element clean.
I use one of these about every 100 labels to clean any residue of the element. It definitely helps ensure you get a nice clean thermal print, and I know when I've neglected cleaning it as my thermal prints to get random missing or low visibility areas. It takes all of a few seconds to pop the top, wipe the element a couple times back and forth, and close the printer. So it really comes down to laziness to not do it on a consistent basis as preventative maintenance. 5 pack will last most people a lifetime if only a single thermal printer really, as the only risk is drying out if you leave the cap off. The cleaning fluid is barely left behind on the surface so "running out" takes a lonnng time.
