We love this game! Easy to follow instructions. Can play as a family or the kids (7 and 3) can do it themselves. It’s easy to set up, good quality and lots of fun! The magnet tongue on the dinosaur provides endless entertainment!

This is a great game for younger children. Over quite quickly so we adapted the rules to get 3 each of the same snacks instead od 2, to make it last a little longer, which worked better. It was very engaging and we all enjoyed playing

Bought this as a gift for 3 kids ranging from 4-11. They all loved it! Easy to learn to play. The dinosaur got thrown around and used for other games after but didn’t break! Great price.

A great little game for young ones, it is not too complicated and does not take hours to play. Basically you roll the dice, when you land on that particular snack you pick that up and then once one of you (4 players in total) gets matching snacks then they are the winner. Because it’s quite a quick fire game, the kids do not lose interest like some other board games. It’s fun, interactive, easy to set up and doesn’t contain millions of pieces that are easily lost! I would definitely recommend to all parents of 3+ children! My son has thoroughly enjoyed playing with this

I’m a speech-language pathologist working in an elementary school, and out of the 7 new games I recently added to my therapy room, this is the one every single student keeps reaching for! The dinosaur launcher is not only adorable and engaging, but it also doubles as a standalone tool to target fine motor skills and imaginative play. The colorful “snacks” make it easy to target vocabulary, categorization, and color matching, and of course - it’s a perfect opportunity for turn-taking practice. The gameplay is easy to adapt, which makes it a dream for therapists. Whether I’m working on articulation, following directions, or expressive language goals, I can use this game with any student, at any level. It’s also a hit across the board with OT and early intervention colleagues - so much so that we already had to buy two more for other therapy rooms because clients didn’t want to stop playing! From a play-based learning perspective, this game is gold. The board is visually engaging, the components are sturdy and well-made, and there’s no rigid “finish line,” so it encourages open-ended play. I love that players can move in either direction on the board - it keeps things fresh and accessible for kids with varying attention and cognitive skills. The only minor note: sometimes the dino’s tongue doesn’t retract fully, especially if a little one pulls too hard. Not a dealbreaker - just worth checking before each round. Still, it’s held up really well, even with heavy daily use. Bottom line: This game is cute, durable, highly motivating, and incredibly versatile. Whether you’re a therapist, teacher, or parent, this is an amazing addition to your toolkit. Can’t recommend it enough! NOTE: Amazon made me pick exactly one age to comment on appropriateness for, but it’s literally a hit with ALL ages from early intervention through high school (my highschoolers love it), and all different populations ranging in severity and goal area.

Purchased for my grand kids 4 and 5 they got a kick out of it the way the T-Rex can suck up the pieces. That ended up being there game in the end, not playing the game just sucking up the pieces. ( ages 4 and 5 expected that :) the quality of the game is good, very colorful, easy assembly, family friendly and easily stored away. Great game to play with your kids. We enjoyed it and even had a few giggles made it worth every penny.

I purchased the Snack-O-Sarus Rex game to have when our grandchildren come to visit. The game arrived with all pieces in tact and in my opinion very well made. The "snacks" are thick paperboard or cardboard that are slightly metallic so Rex can "lick up" the snacks with his magnetic tongue. Rex is made of thicker plastic and made to rotate when a player holds his tail turning him. Rex is also standing on some rocks which rotate smoothly around the game board. Pushing the button on the tail will make the tongue pop out to grab snacks or knock other players back. The game board is bright, colorful and sturdy. The cave people are solid brightly colored plastic (the kids said they are funny and liked their names).. This game is easy to learn. Our grandchildren are four and six and they now know how to set up and play it without our help. I believe they changed the rules to be "knock people off as many times as you can". Watching and hearing them laughing that much is worth it!. I would recommend this game to everyone.
