Allegro Coffee, Coffee Espresso Bel Canto Decaf

- If nobody told you this was (Swiss Water) Decaf, - you might never guess... Lovely-lovely-lovely bellissimo caffè espresso - as much as pourover. - (Grown up between Northern Italy, Ticino and Hamburg in Northern Germany, I have certainly been brainwashed with some super-passionate "coffe-philosophy", - Yet, after ALL of that, I have to freely admit: - THIS IS THE Swiss Water Decaf to go with... if you care to enjoy a beautifully rounded, amazingly tasteful coffee, - with no worries about what time of day it is - This one is bound to make your heart sing.

I love this coffee. It tastes far superior to any other decaf I've tried. Dark and rich, no bitterness or aftertaste. I make pour over coffee with this every day. I mix half Allegro decaf espresso, freshly ground beans and half caffeinated dark roast (Peet's Major Dickinson Blend) freshly ground beans. Sometimes I use more or all Allegro decaf instead of mixing it with a caffeine bean Because the flavor tastes like coffee should taste to me. I love coffee, wish I could drink it all day, but my body can't cope with a high level or caffeine. I could use just this Allegro, but I do appreciate a caffeine boost first thing in the morning. This brand is on the expensive side for my budget, so it lasts longer mixed with the other bean. Smooth, luscious, wonderful aroma. I suspect it would enhance any caffeinated bean if you are trying to cut down on the caffeine. I highly recommend trying it.

Excellent decaf at a reasonable price in this size bag. I add about 15% Kicking Horse dark decaf to my grind to up the darkness to my preference.

Great coffee. The decaf is hard to find so this size is amazing! Best coffee for our espresso machine.

This coffee bean is aromatic, bold but not bitter. Just a really nice balanced taste that isn't too acidic.

The decaf espresso tastes great, with a smooth cup with no bitterness bag after bag. Not sure how it is currently priced so low at this size (around $8 as of the time of this review), but that's about the only suspicious thing with this great bag of beans.
