Easy to remove the clamps, if you prefer wand style better. It's everything I had hoped it to be and more. For years now have I been wanting a wand set and the one I originally wanted was at least $300. Since I got my hair colored, it just doesn't look good straight anymore and curling it with my rather thin straightener would just take too long. I have now almost tried all of the different wands out and it's AMAZING how well all of them work and especially how very different the curls look with each wand. I am still learning and practicing with them, but I would recommend this set to anyone. The case that it comes with was a huge factor for me too, as it keeps everything very organized and makes it easy to store away. I didn't even realize that it came with 2 clippers to hold your hair, and even those work amazing. I have tried different sets of hair clippers from the beauty store and none of them work as good as the two that come with this set and that's really all you need.
