Ancol Timberwolf Leather Round Collar Sable 39-48cm Size 5 (M)

My dog is an awkward size. Most round collars are either just too tight or just too loose. The Ancol Timberwolf size 5 one is ideal with several holes either side for adjustment. The sable colour is similar to that of a mug of cocoa. The collar is well made & quite light although sturdy. It felt a bit stiff when I received it but working it with my hands for a few minutes made it quite supple. The buckle & D ring are brass coloured & substantial. The flat strap part is about .75 inches wide & quite thick but the round part of the collar is very neat. Having put it on my dog, she felt comfortable with it instantly. An excellent collar & I recommend it.

Ordered Size 5 (39cm - 48cm) for my Rhodesian Ridgeback whose neck measures 43cm - should have been perfect, no? No! To fasten even on the very last/loosest notch would have close to strangled her! I started a return and ordered next size up, Size 6 (45cm-54cm). It arrived the next day, and it fits, but fastens on the very first/tightest notch, leaving a significant "tail" hanging out of D ring. That all said, I cancelled my return before sending the smaller one back, as it fit my Dobermann, and I decided to keep the dogs in matching collars. They do look lovely, and seems quite well made (only time will tell, but for this price if they last a year or 2 I'd still be happy). Something to note however, is that the leather seemed very dry and porous, likely to stain and wear very easily, so I treated it properly with leather conditioner/proofing to protect the longevity; this darkened the lovely sable colouring, but since my dogs love adventuring in mud and water, I would prefer to protect the leather for longer. Overall happy with purchase once sizing worked out. Would highly recommend other purchasers to properly condition the dry leather though (and re-do at regular intervals during it's lifetime) if they want to ensure the collar stays in tip-top condition for as long as possible.

Lovely leather collar, great quality and definitely worth the price

ordered the 20 as have used ancol collars before and althouth the collar is very nice it is on the tight side , 20 is the actual collar length not the dogs neck size please be aware of this when purchasing ......must say tho buying here is at least 4.00 cheaper than shops

Nice soft leather, rounded , the dogs have no hassle with them , not to heavy , look long lasting.

Fantastic looking collar which has "disappeared" into my husky's gorgeous neck fur, unlike the traditional flat style which gave him an unwanted Elizabethan ruff collar! This collar is very soft and a classic aged brown colour, very happy. Just make sure you order the right size, I needed a size 5 for my young chap, even though he is still quite little.

I didn’t like this lead — the material feels hard and uncomfortable to hold. Not what I expected from a leather lead. Wouldn’t recommend.

Beau collier au design sympa et bien pour chien à longs poils

Das runde Lederhalsband ist schlicht und für den Preis völlig in Ordnung. Der Ring zum Anleinen ist auch noch gross genug, so das man nicht lange fummeln muss. Nachdem die Halsung jetzt eine Woche in Gebrauch ist, wird sie auch langsam weich. Die Farbe der Schnalle sieht allerdings in natura anders als auf dem Produktfoto.

Insgesamt sehr schmal und zart. Für kurze Spaziergänge geeignet. Besonders schön finde ich die Farbe😀
