I have to test my well every 6 months. This is so easy to use, so inexpensive and you don’t mind trying again if you need to. We have to shock our well occasionally and making sure the chlorine is gone takes some time. Most other kits only come with a few tests for chlorine. I have no idea.... but I was able to cross compare at least the pH with a pH strip I had, and they were the same, so that made me feel better.I don't think these will replace a full water test, but I think it is useful to track changes from a 'baseline' reading that you first take if your water changes. I'm glad it has multiple strips, which is why I bought it, so I can test over time. My water looks pretty good per the test, and that reassurance is what I needed. I guess the only way to know how well it works is if people are pulling up bad readings and independently verify.For me, the peace of mind was well worth the reasonable price, I just hope the results are accurate! I use it in my swimming pool and in testing my well water, and it seems very accurate. It has a lot of different tests not usually found in other products, and it is quick and easy to use. I've used a lot of tests kits and this is the best I've found so far. Especially because I have well water and it tests for metals such as iron and copper.
