It feels tough and well-made, and I don’t worry about taking it outside since it’s waterproof and shockproof. I’ve been really impressed with this Bluetooth speaker so far. It feels tough and well-made, and I don’t worry about taking it outside since it’s waterproof and shockproof. I’ve already used it at the beach and in the snow, and it’s handled both without a problem. The sound quality is way better than I expected. The highs come through super clear and the bass has a nice punch to it, so whether I’m listening to music or podcasts, it always sounds full and balanced. It gets plenty loud too, which is great for outdoor gatherings. Battery life has been solid—I can easily get through the day without recharging, and the fact that it has quick USB-C charging and even wireless charging makes it really convenient. The Bluetooth connection has been strong, and I love that you can link multiple speakers together when you want a bigger sound. The RGB lights are a fun extra. This radio is a POS. Fully charged and would only work for 5 min. Now it will NOT work at all. Called Altec and though the rep was polite, the language barrier was incredible. Spent good money and feel ripped off. Altec is sending a replacement but not sure what happens if the replacement is just as bad.
