I bought the stepstool to help me reach the upper shelves in my bedroom closet and it works perfectly. It’s lightweight, easy to carry, and folds flat for convenient storage were not in use. Despite being lightweight, it feels sturdy and secure when standing on it. Overall it’s a simple practical product that does exactly what I needed it to do. I would definitely recommend it

This is a must have in all homes, especially for items up just out of reach. I was always looking for a chair to reach high items. This step is wonderful, it folds and stores easy. It is sturdy, and not wobbly at all. I have used it several times after getting it, and it is a life saver. I don't step up onto a chair anymore, its safer and just enough of a step up to reach items. Love Love Love this stool...

I feel very safe stepping onto this ACSTEP Folding Step Stool, as it is well made of high quality materials, sturdy, stable, compactible folding flat, and is very easy to assemble. Upon first use, all that is needed to assemble is to align the wedges on the top, then stick the 2 pins through, making it sturdy and stable. The top has a lock to stay secure when you open it. Also, I like the height of this at 17.5 inches, as I needed a higher step stool, and finding one at this height seems rare, along with the variety of color choices. Highly recommend.

Brilliant design; lightweight, folds perfectly, easily and simply. Just the right amount of feet vs crossbar to use in dirt/sand (feet sink to crossbar, then no further). Handle integrated perfectly. Designer is to be commended. Manufacturer, ...not so much. Manufacturer took that perfect design and used the most fragile, brittle (and presumably cheap) plastic available. Stool is sold being rated for 400lbs. Maybe, if one carefully and gently stacked weight on the stool, but not if a real person steps/sits on it. A lot of folks rightly complain the stool arrived chipped and broken. This author's first one did too. But the design was so awesome, had to give it a second chance. Unfortunately, stool cracked upon first use (350lb user). If one is 250lb or less, this stool will probably work great. Successful US-made products usually provide a safety-margin on things like weight rating. If a product promises 400lbs, it is expected the force of stepping-up on the stool could be 600 or more pounds. US manufacturers build that in. That's why Chinese products get a bad rap. They either use substandard materials or overpromise or both (in this case). Funny thing is, brittle plastic is only pennies per unit cheaper than more resilient plastic. For $0.20 more per unit, they could produce an 800lb-rated step-stool (and then rightly sell it as a 400lb stool).

Extremely sturdy and lightweight to carry. excellent quality. I use mine to get in my SUV after this surgery. I also use it to get into bed. This folding stool has made my life easier to navigate.

****UPDATE***** After nearly 2 years of daily use we now have 7 of these stools. Just bought our 3rd 2-pack & bumped my stars from 4/5 to 5/5. That 9" of extra height is an absolute blessing because @4'10" most of the world is built taller than I... so I use steppy stools in every room as well as out on our porch & in the shed :D Puts me tall enough that I can reach so many things without a grabber (awkward & often requires multiple attempts), or heroic tall person immediately at hand, including the clothes in the bottom of our armpit height top loading washer. :D <3 <3 <3 I have balance issues & the extra width is a huge plus, much easier to stand comfortably stable and not feel like I'm teetering on a tiny step. Also great for sitting on doing low to the floor chores. These are amazingly sturdy, durable & soooo handy. They unfold easy and fold flat enough to tuck out of the way, easily at hand without being in the way. I actually just semi-retired my original one to the shed where I'll use it a few times a week rather than the 20-30x a day for my desk. Initial Review: I've been using the first one about 3 weeks, and the 2-pack arrived today. This is an awesome height & width as a footrest under my standing height (for me) desk when I do sit on my shop stool... which is so tall I use the same step stool to climb up on my seat many times a day :D I now have one in the kitchen & one in the utility room. Honestly I can't sit on the floor without assistance getting up, & @4' 10", 225lbs (60lbs down) many nearby things to grab for leverage are often just too tall for me to use. I can no longer kneel or crawl on anything but I sumo squat just dandy :D This step stool is a good height & width to sit on for close to floor tasks such as accessing bottom cupboards and drawers & monkey puzzling furniture together, while being much easier to stand up from. Cons? It does feel a bit flimsier than I'd like in the middle & I am stepping onto & standing on this with a wider stance to save wear & tear on the center. I am hoping it wears well.

Anything above the bottom shelf of my upper cabinets is out of reach. This step stool folds up slim enough to slip beside the fridge, but it is still rated to hold up to 300 lb. Such a great help in the kitchen!

I got this stool for my laundry room where I can't quite reach items on the top shelf of the cabinets installed over top of the washer and dryer. While I have larger folding step stools in the house, I wanted something small that could be tucked away in the laundry room without taking up any space, not damage the finish on the washer or dryer, and be easy to use. This item checked all boxes!!! It is plenty study enough and just the right size for me to reach items in the back of the cabinet on the top shelf.

Folds easily, is sturdy and is not too short, not to tall. I love it. Mind you I am 130 lb and 4'9.
