Please note that as mentioned on-line by others, only the far right hand button on the remote operates the door but that's good enough for me! **Q: I have a overhead legacy 850 door opener. will it work with it. thanks.** A: It should, as long as the 850 is a code changer. Two units can used at once, but they need to be set at the same time at the door motor. It's easy once you get used to it. There's a red reset button on the motor that you push to reset. Then a red light will flash. Just start pressing the close button (one dot) until the door moves. Then use the other control to make the door stop. One thing of note is that for my particular model only the right side button works to open the door. This is not the fault of the remote, but has to do with the technology.
