This does require you to supply an SSD but it is a great little adapter. Been using for 4K video and no complaints so far. The rubber inserts allow the trap door to remain open to fool the camera into thinking it is closed. Quite clever really. Good little adapter of decent quality and works well for my needs. Would recommend.

very poor product when adding a 7000mbs write speed card this adaptor can only push out 450mbs so can not be used on anything higher then a 4k raw. I tried to shoot 8k raw 60fps it lasted 1 second before It failed. it also doesn't come with any past like it shows.

This is a useful converter that’s practical, easy to connect as it just slides in to the camera’s CF slot, and works as it’s supposed to, allowing the greater storage capacity and reliability of an SSD to be used instead of a card. However, the flapping design is a bit cumbersome and the cable belt fairly inflexible - I find this awkward to hold and am not keen on it just dangling and bumping about. It is also a bit of a concern having to leave the card storage cover open and unprotected in order to use this. The almost £90 price point seems rather high for a converter alone, particularly one produced by a not very (not at all?) recognisable company.

Lumix GH7、GH6にて使用。中には2TBのM.2SSDを入れて使用しています。 速度は中に入れたSSDの速度で作動します。 ケースの加工精度は高いので、カメラ内に綺麗に収まり、抜けにくいということもありません。 ただし、アルミのケースで熱伝導を良くしているメリットを生かすにはカメラ内部と密着している方が好ましため、cfxpress-type-bに関しては少しキツく感じるくらいの方が放熱性は上がると思います。私は内部に熱伝導シートを貼り付けて使用しております。 M.2SSD2230自体がサーマルスロットリングが起こりやすく、熱による転送速度低下により録画が途中で止まる事は十分あります。 2TBのM.2SSD2230をケースに入れ、GH7で最大容量の4.3GB/s(ProresRawHQ5.7k)で録画すると約21分録画可能ですが、19分あたりで転送速度低下により録画停止しました。 普段こんな大容量のコーデックで撮影することはないのでmov422-10bit4kやProres422-4kで録画するぶんには止まらずに撮影出来ています。 ケースには付属でドライバーと、ネジ(予備4本含む)、容量のステッカー(1tbとか2tbとか)が同梱されています。 熱伝導も考えステッカーは貼らずに使用しています。

I'm in the process of extensively testing my EOS R5's ability to record in 8K raw and trying to mitigate the overheating issue with using an "external CFexpress" to reduce the heat build-up. From what I gather, it definitely helps, it took the 20 minute limit and allowed me to shoot for 40 minutes before something else internally started overheating. Don't buy this thinking it'll allow you to shoot unlimited 8K raw on the R5, just know that this is a fantastic way to extend the run time and prevent the camera from overheating from idling because of the hot CFexpress cards. One issue is the stiffness and length of the cable coming out of the CFexpress card makes it hard to operate the camera without risking bumping the cable and dislodging the card, so you'll have to come up with a way like using a camera cage and a handle to avoid touching the cable.

Provenivo da un vecchio adattatore preso su quel sito cinese famoso. Un autentico accrocchio che una volta inserito a fatica sia nel lettore memory che nella z9, per via dello spessore leggermente superiore, faceva fatica ad entrare ed uscire e non faceva scattare il sistema di ritenuta della memory, facendo si che mentre scattassi o peggio, filmassi,la memory non veniva riconosciuta. Chiaramente con tutti i disagi del caso. Questa soluzione non l'ho provata a fondo ma già la compatibilità meccanica mi fa ben sperare. Recensione che in caso di problemi aggiornerò altrimenti lascerò così.

Funktioniert einwandfrei in meiner NIKON Z8 mit einer SABRENT 2230 M.2 NVMe Gen4 1TB SSD. Ist absolut schnell und und von der Preis/Leistung meines Erachtens unschlagbar. Mit dem Transcend RDE2 Card Reader eine tolle Kombination. Die Langzeit Zuverlässigkeit bleibt natürlich abzuwarten. Einbau einer SSD ist problemlos. Bitte an Wärmeleitpaste denken die nicht im Lieferumfang dabei ist ! Bis dato eine eine Kaufempfehlung
