The material is awesome and padded for my dog yo chill on. Groceries do slide a little bit but not more than most pads. Nice look and everyone asks where I got that. The covers stick directly to the own carpet material used in the vehicle via hook and loop (Velcro material) it could be better if it had small cutouts on the floor mat that utilizes the tie downs that come in the car.
