Accurate, reliable and reassuring
I was initially very skeptical about this device. However, after my wife experienced a very frightening issue one night with her oxygen machine, I decided to give it a try โ and Iโm very glad I did. My wife now wears this ring every night to ensure she is always receiving the oxygen she needs. If her oxygen level drops below the threshold I set, the device vibrates and immediately sends a loud alert to my iPhone. That feature alone provides tremendous peace of mind. She has worn this device during hospital stays and doctor visits. Of course, the hospitals use their own professional monitoring equipment, but every time I compared the readings, this device was remarkably accurate and matched the hospital equipment almost exactly. The included app is easy to use and works very well. It alerts you if you move too far away from the device, and the connection remains solid throughout our fairly large house. The app also stores historical readings, which can be downloaded and shared with doctors when needed. Battery life has also been excellent. We typically get around 16โ20 hours per charge. We simply charge it for a couple of hours each day, and itโs ready to go again. Many healthcare professionals who have seen this device have been highly impressed with it. Surprisingly, most had never heard of it before. After about six months of near-constant use, we did experience a small mechanical issue where the device occasionally slipped off my wifeโs finger. I contacted customer service, and within a week they had sent a brand-new replacement device โ no arguments, no blame, and no hassle. They were friendly, responsive, and extremely easy to work with. If youโre hesitant or skeptical about buying this device, donโt be. For anyone who needs to monitor oxygen levels โ either for themselves or for someone they love โ this is one of the best and most reassuring little devices you can own. The product itself is excellent, and the customer service fully backed it up.

Excellent product, great service response!
This is an excellent product that does the job flawlessly. It reads and records my oxygen levels, heartrate, and movement in one-second intervals, unlike other wearables that record less frequently or require another device to record the data. I put it on and it starts recording automatically. Downloading the data to the app over bluetooth is automatic, once the app is open and recording stops. The battery life is good, usually enough for at least two sleep sessions. There are only three issues that I have: > The cord that comes with this device is NOT a standard USB-C cord. The device will not charge or transfer data with a standard cord. I have to use the one that came with the device. > The app uses private storage on my phone to write files, which I then have to transfer to my PC, one at a time, using the share function in the app to store the file on my phone, then my phone to my laptop. (There is a way to sync with my PC directly, but this is only from the wearable to my PC using that cable and Wellue's proprietary software.) > This last one is really nitpicky, but there is no way to see the battery level in-app or on the device, except by a very small battery icon. No battery percentage is shown, so it is difficult to know whether there is enough charge for another sleep session. PS: The customer service department deserves a bit of praise for handling an issue I had with my unit where it stopped responding to the button on the device. All they required was proof of purchase and a video showing the problem, along with a photo of the serial number on the device and they shipped me a new one in two days! Amazing!

SHORTNESS OF BREATH MONITOR
We chose the Wellue O2 Ring for its reputation and features. We download the previous nights recording each morning. The graphs are very good for both O2 and pulse levels. We have it for over three weeks and have already taken them to her doctors as an easy to read graph which doctors appreciate. We did have a hiccup for three days last week and found it very slow for a response but that has improved and the ring is working perfectly.

Continuous high EMF levels.
In some respects it's a good tool for determining O2 blood saturation and how it tracks all night and gives a full report. It wakes you up with a vibration if 02 level falls below a preset level. The big problem with this device is that it broadcasts very high bluetooth EMF levels all the time while it's on. I found this out using an EMF meter. It's in the red zone of the meter all night long averaging in the range of roughly 105 mW/mยฒ even when the device is not paired with a phone and the ViHealth app is completely closed or uninstalled. My finger is a bit sore and numb where I had it on nights for about a month. This is poor design and a health hazard over time. My wife suffered severe Parkinson's symptoms using bluetooth earphones that slowly went away over about a year after she stopped using them. All my bluetooth hearing aids allow me to turn continuous bluetooth off . Nobody should be exposed to so much continuous radiation. One should be able to shut bluetooth off if desired and then turn it on briefly while communicating with the app, like downloading the nights data. I don't think I can return it now though I'm going to try. It's too bad - an otherwise good tool but somebody in the design of the product apparently thinks high levels of EMF are not a health risk. I know otherwise. They could program it to poll for a signal from the app every 30 seconds or so instead of having bluetooth on continuously whenever the device is turned on. And the signal level is much higher than it needs to be. That's what my hearing aids do. I checked with my EMF meter. Full blast EMF all night long.

Almost a sleep study. Well-made device and excellent software!
This is a small but mighty device. It registers your pulse and oxygen saturation quickly. Compared to other pulse oximeters I have used, this one hones in on the saturation more rapidly and displays the value more consistently than some others that "can't seem to make up their mind". I wore it while sleeping and it was very comfortable. It synced easily with the free iOS ViHealth app. The quality and amount of data produced are incredible! See the attached photo-- you can view the O2 sat and pulse in graphs for your entire sleep session along with data on how much time your pulse and O2 saturation spent in different ranges. There is even a graph showing motion during sleep. The ability to export the report as a PDF is terrific. I can imagine this device being used by patients with sleep concerns. They could then share the report with their physician who I would expect would find this very helpful. Some reviewers reported that the monitor can only be charged with the included cable as though it were proprietary. I was able to charge it with both the included cable as well as a standard USB-C to USB-A cable. However like many devices, it may not charge with a USB-C to USB-C cable if their devices did not implement the required USB-C handshake for power negotiation which USB-C to USB-A does not require. By all means, use the included cable but if it is damaged, a standard USB-C to USB-A cable will work to charge this. Overall, very pleased!

Awesome device to help monitor oxygen level and pulse rate with a great company backing it up!
We love the O2Ring-S Oxygen Monitor. My wife has a lung disease and we can tell ahead of time when she needs to sit down and rest or increase her oxygen on her consentrator. We had an issue with it months later but customer service was awesome and got a replacement in a timely matter after. Actually it was the best customer service I have ever dealt with! This is the 24 hour model but we also have the 16 hour model that we use for a back up while on vacation plus wanted one to monitor during the night occasionally so 16 hour one comes in handy the next day why 24 hour one charges. Later we'll probably buy another 24 hour one to switch off every day. My wife says it is comfortable to wear and never had an issue doing so. Every morning I download the data to my cell phone and then to my computer. That also helps to see monitor what she shouldn't be doing or take more breaks if she does. Needless to say, we are very happy with the product and the company's service department. I wouldn't have a problem buying again because it's a great tool on help keeping my wife safe! Here is a small sample on what we see in my downloads every morning on my cell phone.

Good product and good support
We are very pleased to try the new model. We used the older model for several years. It works well and if band breaks within one year they are very good about replacement. It has vibration feature to help raise oxygen if it goes low. We use together with bipap each night.

Readings vary a lot. Do NOT wash hands with it on. Have to change its location frequently.
Very marginal use. Readings can differ up to 10%, depending on which finger and which joint. With no change in wearer position or activity. I find that it's most consistent with itself, and other meters, on the finger-end joint. But then the ring design is not much improvement over traditional bulkier pulse oximeters. Unlike the guess of Rufus, now "Alexa for shopping", email from the ring's customer service says NOT to wash hands with it on. They have nothing to suggest, about which of the the different readings is more likely to be correct, in the same position and non-activity of the wearer. Probably trying to extend the same finger-tip technology, likely near-obsolete itself, to other finger positions. Unsuccessfully, for me. Note to manufacturer: reading accuracy seems to deviate particularly when the finger has gotten a little sweaty, from the non-ergonomic plastic ring material. Then particularly needs to be switched to a different finger for a while. Ho humm.
