Great Value and service
I got this ice maker in July of 2024 . I loved the ice and everything about it. It was easy to use and made soft chewy ice quickly, however after a few weeks it began making a screeching sound occasionally. I continued using it for several months but it continued getting worse and eventually ice production slowed and then finally it quit. Of course my 3 months was past so I called the company and they were awesome. They sent me a new ice maker and I was not required to send back the old one. I was skeptical about the new one , after the short amount of time the first one lasted. I have waited several months before sending a review just to give it time to prove itself. I have to say that it has been working perfectly with no noises. I love this ice maker and for the price compared to some name brands , I donโt think you can beat it. And their customer service is top notch. I would definitely buy this again !!!

Was great until it wasn't
I was initially enamored by the EUHOMY Nugget Ice Maker, imagining a lifetime supply of pebble ice bliss in my future. And oh, how I loved it in the beginning. It cranked out nugget after nugget of delightful ice nuggets that turned my mundane beverages into luxurious treats. We were on a honeymoon phase, and everything was perfect. Fast forward about five months, and my sweet ice-making companion turned into a clanking monstrosity that sounded like an angry robot trying to escape its own existential dread. The noise could have been used to test the limits of human patience. At one point, I thought my kitchen had been transported into a heavy metal concert, minus the thrill. Naturally, I sought help. Little did I know I was about to enter the "Support Helpline Circle of Doom". Calling the support number led me straight into a wall. After precisely one minute of being serenaded by the worldโs worst on-hold tunes (complete silence), the call would abruptly disconnect, leaving me questioning my own sanity. Desperate, I turned to web and email support. I quickly discovered that this so-called "support" is orchestrated by an AI with the attention span of a goldfish. I would painstakingly type out my woes, only to have the AI come back with the same questions it asked before, as if our previous interactions were just figments of my imagination. If I had a nickel for every time I re-typed my serial number, I could have bought a lifetime supply of actual ice. In the end, the EUHOMY Nugget Ice Maker promised me a wonderland of icy joy, but left me in the cold - figuratively, of course, since it stopped making ice. Now I'm stuck with a broken ice maker that's "under warranty" and no actual way to use that warranty or get help with it. So, if you're looking for a machine that promises delight but delivers exasperation, look no further! But seriously, invest in earplugs, patience, and maybe a backup ice tray.

Makes Great Ice & Great Customer Service
This unit makes good nugget ice and works quickly, and I appreciate the fact that there are two different ways to fill it. The first unit I ordered started making a loud noise while operating (similar to many other reviews) and since I was just past the 30 day return window, I contacted Euhomy customer service to see about a warranty claim. They responded very quickly and asked for a video of the issue and provided some tips to correct the issue myself. Unfortunately, none of those tips worked, so they sent out a brand-new machine which is working fine (so far). They followed up about 3 weeks later to ask if the new machine was working properly. That's what I call great customer service! I recommend this machine (and this company) if you like nugget ice.

Zero reply from customer service at the seller.
This is a disappointing review to have to write. We returned a previously purchased ice maker, an Outgava brand (but there are 50 more under different names), when it started making an ugly strained whining sound, and Amazon insisted that a return was the best option. This one (different brand, same style of ice produced) had better reviews, including talking about excellent customer service. After plugging it up, it started making *the same noise* after about 48 hours. It got worse and worse. Initially, it would work for a day or so before the noise would start. Slowly it was down to just a few minutes after starting the machine before the horrible sound would start. I followed the "product support" links with Amazon, and it led me to the Euhomy website, and a support request form. I filled it out nearly a week ago, and I've had no response. You see, I suspect this noise might be related to our water (well water, treated with a chlorinator and a water softener). I see other reviews that are all over the map about this issue. It is my guess that there have been enough returned that the seller has some idea as to why this happens. I'd *love* to keep this unit if we can get it to quit screaming like a banshee, but they don't even respond to their web form. So this one is headed back to Amazon before the return window runs out, but I'd really like to find a way to make it work. So for other considering buying one of these, we love the ice, and the removable reservoir (even with the awkward method for pulling it out), and the *normal* noise level was fine. It was this horrible sound that developed that ended our appreciation for it. We love the nugget ice, but primal screams are not going to work. See the attached video.

Impressive ice maker
We use A LOT of ice and this little ice maker is impressive. It makes pellet ice quickly and is not really noisy in our opinion. The ice dropping is much quieter than our old ice maker. When you initially add water there is some noise as the water is sucked up to fill the reservoir, but not loud at all. Our only complaint is the location of the drain plug is a bit of a pain, but easy to manage.

Buyer beware
Worked great for a little over a year. We loved the ice it makes and up until about 2 months ago, it worked great. Now that we're past the manufacturer warranty period, it is starting to make ridiculously loud noises while it makes ice. We ran cleaning cycles per the manufacturer requirements. This is out first crushed ice maker and it is an integral part of our kitchen but now I don't have any confidence that it will be able to make any more ice without making an incredibly loud noise. So disappointed. Wish we hadn't spend so much on a product that only lasted about 14 months.

Works, makes decent ice but too loud and just got really loud
On the pro side, this is one of the less expensive pebble ice makers. It makes decent ice but ours ran slightly too cold and the ice freezes to harder pebbles. It replaced another (different brand/design) unit that had given out after a couple of years. I was a little disappointed at the noise level but it wasn't too bad until a couple of weeks ago when it started screeching like a banshee. Gave it a couple of multi-day breaks in case ice had built up in the unit and a good cleaning, but after a half hour or so it gets back to shrieking. Not going to go through replacement because even at its best it was just louder than I want to have going.
