Will this bag hold ladies size skates? My granddaughter is 9 and wears a 7 1/2 ladies

No, there is not, so it doesn't work well for figure skates because the grommets will bang against the leather of the skates. But my son uses his for hockey skates and it works fine for that.

What are the dimensions of this bag? Will they fit a pair of adult ice skates?

yes it is very roomy, not too sure on exact dimensions though. I ordered them for a size 8 in womens and theres still plenty of roomð~
