It has some customization and even allows for samples to be recorded and applied to the pads directly from the device. There are backing tracks, a metronome, and basic lessons on different drum techniques. Best of all, you can plug headphones into the drum set. 😄 It doesn't take up too much space and has drumstick holders on the back, which is a great function so they don't get lost. So far they've been durable enough to hold up to both of my kids beating on them (only a few days, but that's better than a lot of their toys). I've even played with this a bit!
