BLACK+DECKER Electric Skillet, Variable Temperature Control, Nonstick Cooking Surface, Dishwasher Safe, Tempered Glass Lid, 12"x15"

Bought this skillet to use as my cooktop. My electric stove cooktop burners doesn't heat up like they use to. So I chose this particular one because of the brand and the positive reviews. Works really well and is non stick! It can be used to for breakfast, casseroles and simmering. Washes well with soap and water. Easy to put together with a small screwdriver. The only thing is you would need to put it on a non slip mat or towel to keep it from sliding. The bottom of the handles are not designed with any type of material to prevent that. I use one of my baking pans to sit it on and it holds up fine for me. Also the cord should have been a wee bit longer for it.

Size and convince is why i purchased this! Super easy to clean and the multi use of cooking methods is unbeatable. Me and my family don’t eat fried food often so we didn’t want a deep fryer because it would be a waste! This is perfect. Sturdy and the color is nice as well. Heat distribution is amazing! We did a test run on some pork chops and it cooked them to perfection! Absolutely no complaints would buy this again

Replaced my 60 year old fry pan with this beauty. Can cook 4 eggs, some diced potatoes, a good number of breakfast sausages, along with my cherry & cheese crepes all at the same time. Makes for one wonderful cooker!

It's a little less long than its predecessors. For six slices of French toast, it's crowded. The thermostat is good, and appreciate that it's lit. I have noticed that when I'm frying, most times I have to increase the temperature. The coating inside is great and very easy to clean.

Best fryer ever! I had previously been using a fryer that was about 400 years old. It finally went out so I researched several different varieties and chose this one. So far I've cooked eggs, pancakes and fried chicken tenders and this pan works amazing. Pros: heats up fast, holds heat, heats evenly Super non stick, eggs and pancakes slid right out Easy easy cleaning! Just a quick wipe out Easy to assemble and use Lid seals adequately Great price and quality materials Cons- not really any cons noticed yet Overall a great purchase. Highly recommend

Bought 3 over time. Well made even temp throughout the grill. Great quality and cleans up so easy.

I don't like the glass lid. I live in a non-temperature controlled home and the lid makes scary noises when used due to the rapid changes. Makes me paranoid it's going to shatter. Wish it had a metal lid instead. The unit itself has issues in staying a consistent temperature and the metal makes pinging noises as it cools down. The size is good for cooking large meals or multiple grill cheese sandwiches at once. It is somewhat easy to clean.

I am glad I purchased this 12x15 pan, because it’s the perfect size to make great meals in one unit. Since purchase it has been used at least every second day to twice a day. I’ve made breakfast, grilled cheese, and warmed up leftovers quickly and perfectly. Definitely an easy to clean, quality appliance.

We have already used the 12" x 12" for a long time and use it very regularly at least several times a week and all without any problems. We got this 12" x 15" for preparing larger portions and while only 3 inches more on the length it makes a huge positive difference in preparing food. The extra size is a BIG plus, also the power cord is 8 or 10 inches longer than the smaller skillet and this is also convenient for placing the pan. The down side of the larger skillet is that unlike the 12" x"12" skillet it doesn't fit all the way to sit in our kitchen sink for washing. Also, the underside has an open slots that cover the heating element, I am not sure if this will be a concern or not when washing out the skillet. I am thinking that the benefits of the extra size might help overlook any other concerns. If this holds up to use as the smaller version it will be a big win for sure.
