Don't forget the thermal paste !
Purchased this along with a crankshaft position sensor for our '02 Park Avenue when it commenced sputtering and died just 3 miles from home. Rarely are any codes thrown when the CPS goes so I replaced it w/the front crank seal while I was in there and backed it up with this item as they're subject to high heat constantly. Sadly, many reviews of these ICMs are not worth their salt, as the installers- and I've even seen it on youtube by pros- do not use any thermal transfer paste when installing it. You must ! Otherwise it'll bake within a few months. At any rate, happy to say that the car is now running fine. Good product, accurate fit, easy install. All at a good price.

This resolved the issue. It only lasts 6 months. Replaced same exact part 6 months ago.

Good part bad packaging
It was a good part but the box it came in was all tore up and smashed.

Lasted 2 months at the most, driven by an old lady, and already throwing p0300 random misfire.
Well it’s already no good. I wish I didn’t have to give it 1 star but that’s the lowest it’ll go Purchased on January 22nd and it’s not been running right for well over a month now. ( today is 4/30/25 ) Now I have to buy the part out of my pocket, at advanced auto for $250.00 because the customer paid for this crappy ass ignition control module I found on amazon and ordered for her. Not to mention the hour + of properly diagnosing the issue with a multimeter. It should have lasted a lot longer then at the most it worked for 2-2.5 months AT MOST being driven by a Little old lady who Sunday cruises every day..

Works 100% and Perfect Fit
It was an exact fit for my 2008 Buick Lacrosse. I had a bad misfire, but after changing the module with this one, the car started working as it was supposed to. Totally worth it as of now. I installed it today, and it was very easy to install. Anyone could DIY. I will get back in a few months with the updated information, but so far, it's very good.
