Very sturdy and works well
These hoses are a smaller diameter than what you find in the home improvement stores. Their construction is far superior, meaning they are much sturdier. The little connector was critical, I needed to make one long hose. Its smaller diameter and sturdiness meant I was able to bend it into a sharp U-turn and run the drainage along the side of the house. I ran a shallow circular saw cut along one side while the hoses were fully retracted, to invite water seepage along the way (Be VERY careful if you do this!) but find that once expanded the saw holes tended to curve somewhat and provide limited seepage there, which is okay after all because it is still a much better drain hose that I had.

Easy to attach to an existing downspout without tools
I had a downspout that was dumping water about 2 feet from one of the window wells to the basement and would sometimes drip into the window well in heavy rain. This snapped right onto the end of the existing downspout without tools, and now even in a thunderstorm I don't see water dripping in the window well at all.

Making it easy to change fitting between 3"x4" and 2"x3"
The larger 3"x4" fitting came pre-assembled to the flexible pipe. I needed to change to the smaller 2"x3" fitting, but encountered difficulty unscrewing the larger fitting. I finally resorted to spraying a bit of SILICONE LUBRICANT into the joint and that did the trick. I also gave a spray to the smaller fitting before screwing it onto the flexible pipe which made it easier. Instructions that come with the item should point this out as I read that others have had the same issue.

Thin and not very much water
Thin material. Does its job but not high quality. The actual gutters won’t carry much water

HOLY MESS
If the goal is to move water away from your house, this pipe completely misses the point. It expands nicely and is easy to set up, but the entire thing is full of holes—so instead of carrying the water out to where you want it, it just leaks out within the first couple of feet. Basically, it dumped water right back near my foundation. For anyone shopping: This is a perforated pipe. It’s meant for yard drainage (like French drains or absorbing water into the soil), not for diverting water away from your house. If your goal is to channel water away from your home or driveway, you need a solid (non-perforated) pipe. This product might work in the right setup, but it’s definitely not for directing water away from your foundation. The holes defeat that purpose.
