It is cheap and I should have known better, but ... well ... it is cheap. The bad: Firstly it's badly wound on it's centre and tangles as it is used. It's fluffy which only adds to that problem. The yarn is not well mercised and smooth as it should be and is not of uniform thickness. It does not look terribly well spun but for the price it's ok. I also found a fine piece of plastic(?) woven into it so badly I had to cut the yarn to get that section gone. The yarn is not that strong probably due to poor spinning. The good: It crochets up ok. It's much cheaper than the best yarns. The caveats: I am mid project (a large doily) and have not yet washed and blocked what I am making. Given that it's not the greatest quality, I am suffering from trepidation each time I pick up my hook, but also want to see what happens (am I a masochist?). Conclusion: For the price, yeah ok. Will I buy this again? No definitely not.

Strong yarn/cotton, soft good quality, I’m making snowmen and crocheting scarves , I use 1.75 down to a 75. Crochet hook and crochet up great.

Ideally useful for string on Christmas gift tags.
